Description:
Classic OPzS batteries are vented lead-acid cells and blocks with tubular positive plates and transparent or translucent containers. Exide rates them for a 20-year design life at 20 °C. A low-antimony alloy and large electrolyte reserve keep maintenance low. They are designed to IEC 60896-11 and DIN 40736 and are also available dry-charged.
