LCE/LB is Alcad's high-energy pocket-plate Ni-Cd cell, built with the thickest plates in the range to deliver a reliable source of energy over long, relatively low-current discharges. Discharges are usually infrequent, making it a fit for power backup, communications and bulk energy storage, with a 20+ year life and wide operating temperature range.
