The MC/MB range is Alcad's medium-rate pocket-plate nickel-cadmium cell, sized for loads lasting roughly 30 minutes to 3 hours or for mixed high/low-rate duty cycles. It suits frequent or occasional discharges and is typically used for switchgear tripping and general power backup, with a service life of more than 20 years.
